Fiber Blowing

Fibertel helps with fiber installation in homes and projects - from blowing in microduct/ducts to tidy preparation in technical rooms or cabinets. We work with clear checkpoints and deliver labeling and documentation so the installation is easy to finish, operate and troubleshoot.
Service area: Vestfold, Telemark and Buskerud (other areas by agreement).

When do you need fiber blowing?

When fiber needs to be installed in microduct/ducts to a house, townhouse or new buildild
When you want fiber brought into a technical room/cabinet for a tidy installation
When the duct route is long, has many bends, or pulling is difficult
When a repair/relocation requires new fiber in existing ducts
When you want termination/prep, labeling and documentation after installation
When fiber is damaged - e.g., after digging in the garden, site work, drainage or construction incidents
When fiber is damaged during renovation - drilling, wall pulling, remodeling, moving the technical cabinet, or rebuilds

How we work (equipment and method)

We choose method and equipment based on route, duct/microduct type, length and number of bends - focusing on stable installation, low risk and good control.

This can include:
Review of route, duct/microduct and entry point
Assessment of pulling vs blowing (based on conditions)
Preparation in technical room/cabinet (order, labeling and structure)
Documentation of route and delivery (by agreement)

FPT KAT Mini

FPT KAT Mini is typically used when we need a compact and flexible blowing unit on site - for example in cabinets, at handholes/manholes, or where rig space is limited.

Typical use cases

Blowing in microduct and smaller ducts where precise control matters
Service and partial sections (in/out of cabinets, distribution points, technical rooms)
Jobs with short changeovers and limited space

What this means for you

Suitable when there are many points/sections in the same area
Practical in tight conditions and the “last meters” into the technical room/cabinet

Fiber into the home - from duct/microduct to your technical room

Building new, upgrading, or need fiber into a technical room/cabinet? We can help with routing in duct/microduct, control and tidy documentation - making termination and final completion easier.

FPT KAT Micro

FPT KAT Micro is used for microduct blowing where stable installation and efficient production are required.

Typical use cases

Microduct-based routes in rollout projects
Routes with multiple sections and multiple entry points
Work where consistent production flow and repeatable setup is important

What this means for you

Predictable progress when the route and prerequisites are clarified
A good option when the project requires multiple blowing operations

Jetting VO HD

Jetting VO HD is used for jetting/installation where method and setup are adapted to the route and desired duct installation - especially when conditions require extra control.

Typical use cases

When jetting is the right method for the project
Where stability and control of the installation is critical
Jobs where equipment and method must be adapted to local conditions

What this means for you

An additional method choice when the project needs more than “standard blowing”
Useful when route condition, duct condition and execution are decisive

How we deliver fiber blowing in projects

We follow a clear, checkpoint-based process. This reduces deviations and provides a delivery that’s easy to follow up.

1) Clarification before start

Review of route, duct/microduct and access
Clarification of lengths, bends and any splice points
Agreement on labeling and documentation

2) Setup and preparation

Setup at blowing point and receiving point
Route/duct verification (where possible/by agreement)
Preparations for safe and tidy execution

3) Installation (blowing/jetting)

Controlled installation with method adapted to conditions
Ongoing checks to ensure stable progress and avoid damage

4) Finish and handover

Preparation for splicing/termination (according to project plan)
Order and labeling in cabinet/technical room
Documentation delivered in the agreed format

Documentation and checkpoints

Documentation is adapted to project requirements and interfaces with main contractor/client. Typical deliveries:

Labeling and traceability along the route and at distribution points (by agreement)
Overview of completed sections and deliveries on site
Basis for further splicing/termination and “as-built” (when included in scope)

If you have specific documentation requirements, we align early in planning - so the delivery is correct the first time.
